Spirit leaves no one out. It's not that some people are lucky and are connected to this Infinite Source while others are not. If you quiet your mind and listen to your inner guidance, you will experience this direct connection.

Like tuning into a radio frequency, we know when we are making the connection; the communication from Spirit becomes clear and very personal. We aren't given information that doesn't apply to our life. When we tune in we receive guidance that will allow for the greatest expression of our life.

That's why comparison is such a dead end trap. When we compare, our attention is on what others are doing that we're not or what others have that we don't. It leaves us feeling less than whole, as if something is wrong with us or we don't measure up. The problem with this is that our attention is outside ourselves, and we're not present to receive our life.

We're not listening to what it is Spirit wants to express through us. You know you're on the trail of comparison when you feel inadequate and your energy depletes, almost as if the wind got knocked out of you.

However, our attention can drift outside ourselves to what someone else is doing, and we then can have a completely different experience. This happens when we are inspired by others. It is when we recognize our true self being expressed in another that we are reminded of our wholeness. This kind of outward inspiration is really only a gentle reminder of who we are; it is never about the other person.

When you are poised to receive your life, no one, no thing can stand in the way. For a meaningful and deeply satisfying life we have to ask the question: How does Spirit want to express through me? The question is not how can I live like others live, or get the things others have. The deeper question is. What is the natural expression of who I am?

How do we find the answer to that question? What do we do when we're feeling disconnected from our Source, this infinite supply? What if we cannot see, hear, feel or get in touch with this concept of infinite resources and richness either inside or outside of us? This is a common experience for many of us whether we're on a spiritual path or not.

What is so powerful about the Receive Your Life program and its teachings is that we have brought together practical and accessible tools and practices that bring our awareness to how Spirit is directing and guiding our everyday lives. These tools lead us not only into reconnecting with the voice of Spirit, but also to the realization of our constant supply and how it supports us in receiving our life.
