The Power of Causative Gratitude

Printer-Friendly Format

In his book Spiritual Economics, Eric Butterworth talks about how gratitude
is a causative energy. I've always been taught that gratitude is something
you express after receiving a gift or compliment, etc. It took me awhile to
grasp that you could actually start the manifestation process with gratitude.

Butterworth explains that there is incredible power in gratitude and we each
have access to this resource. Giving thanks places us in a state of
consciousness in which we are open and receptive to receive the good that
awaits us.

We have many options of how we can use this power. The closer we are to
the feeling of gratitude the more powerful the energy, the reason is because
the sooner we align with Spirit the more power we have behind us. Rather
than waiting for a final outcome; if we feel grateful the moment we receive an
idea or inspiration, the manifestation process is strengthened and
accelerated.

Using the power of gratitude to manifest is a very different experience than
just hoping and wishing circumstances will change. One has us feeling
powerful and the other feeling powerless.

This week notice your relationship to gratitude. Do you wait until something
shows up to give thanks? Or are you using gratitude as a causative energy to
manifest your heart's desire?

Affirmation: I align with my highest good through the power of
gratitude.
