Your Life Matters

Printer-Friendly Format

I recently received a forum post from a member. She was describing a limiting belief, then ended with 'at least I'm grateful this is not a Myanmar mess.'

So often we dismiss our inner conflicts as inconsequential when measured against the world's real problems. And yet how many of the world's so called 'problems' could be resolved simply from realizing we are all connected and not separate from one another.

My reply to her was, yes this is not the Myanmar mess, but what happens in your life matters. If your energy is constricted and you are not able to be the loving, kind and generous person that you are, that love is not being circulated. Healing your limiting beliefs helps others heal theirs.

The awareness of your wholeness ripples out and helps to alleviate the scarcity consciousness on the planet. Your personal healing work benefits people you will never meet. If we're closed off from receiving the love, peace and abundance of the universe, what do we have to give to others? We can give from a finite supply, but that quickly runs dry.

Our responsibility is to keep our channels open to the best of our ability. That is our greatest contribution.

Affirmation: I make my greatest contribution when I realize my wholeness and then see and acknowledge the wholeness in others.
